HAMDELI FESTIVALS
The organization of major festivals, art exhibitions, scientific symposia, and the existence of museums of historical and artistic works, and pure traditional exhibitions and tourism is one of the main pillars of world culture and economy. Like the civilizations of other vital regions of the world, the great civilizations in our country should be introduced to the world and become a means of strengthening Afghanistan’s economy. Historic cities in Afghanistan with an identity and history of artistic, cultural, architectural, sculptural, and calligraphic works are dimensions of culture that we will present uniquely in United State and other major home counties for Afghan diaspora. Let’s stand up together!

During the spring of 2008, Green Wave was first initiated by Miss Leena Alam, Basir Hamidy, and Abas Turkamni, and later was supported by 27 Afghan companies. What is good about this project – which by the way is a self-operate and self sufficient- is that it depends solely on people’s participation. And another thing that makes this project so unique is that it proves that even one person can contribute in the society and for the environment that he/she lives in. In 2008, the planting of trees were near to the newly- constructed roads in Kabul. After the planting of these trees, the City of Kabul, took full responsibility of keeping and watering of the planted trees. And in 2009, plus the planting of trees, Green Wave initiated the greening of the newly built schools. In this project, after the grassing and planting trees, the responsibility of safekeeping of the grass and the trees were handed to each student of that school.
